Kabukicho and Shinjuku Golden Gai tour

Sachiko is a great and knowledgeable guide. It was very easy to find the meeting sport for me, and then the tour began. We walked through the red light area and Sachiko explained a lot of the history and functions of the different places. It was fascinating to see a lot as we walked around. We then headed to the Golden Gai area and saw a great place to go drinking for the rest of my trip. So many interesting small bars. We then walked through a number of other areas within Shinjuku. At the end I felt like I had a much better idea of how to get around and find the things I want to do. We then finished up with dinner at a little Izakaya place which was delicious. Thanks Sachiko I had a great time.

Sachiko gave an awesome tour. She was very knowledgeable about the areas we visited.
She genuinely seemed to love explaining their relevance to Japanese culture. Following the tour we had a delicious sushi dinner. It would be difficult to find a better guide than her. I would definitely recommend her to any visitors.

We had a great time with Sachiko. She showed us around the Kabuki-cho and Golden Gai areas and how to navigate there from Shinjuku station which was really invaluable as we were staying near Shinjuku. We shared a great sushi meal together and some delicious takoyaki. Sachiko answered all of our questions and provided a great intro to Japanese culture on our first night in town. We highly recommend booking a tour with Sachiko.

Sachiko was wonderful! We had an enjoyable few hours in her company, learning about Shinjuku, the Golden Gai and all the various districts in the area. The tour was both interesting and informative. We finished the evening with a lovely sushi meal :) Thank you Sachiko!

Our tour with Saschiko was great and we especially appreciated hit open mindedness and liberal perspective on life. We had a two hour tour and she filled every minute of it. After the tour we have come back for rain checks of places we saw but didn't visit.

I had an excellnet early evening at Kabukicho and Shinjuku golden gai with Sachiko. We met at the Shinkujuku station and had a short talk what we gonna see and what I want to see. Went first trough Kabukicho. Guide on that area recommended. With guide you get some much more out of it than just wandering around. Walked trough golden gai area and visited few shops in Kabukicho. We had really nice "free flow" tour with interesting topics to talk about. Had a good dinner after the tour. Thanks Sachiko :)

Sachiko was a wonderful guide. To actually hear about the history and culture as you are seeing the sites is wonderful. Sachiko is very friendly and I'm glad I found this app. I only contacted her 2 days before the tour and I'm glad I did. I'll definitely do another tour with her in the future. She also found me in a very busy Tokyo station when I wasn't at the right meeting place at the right time.

Highly recommend, had a great time! I only had two nights in Tokyo and Sachiko showed me around Shinjuku one night and Akakihabara another night. If I had walked around these neighborhoods myself, it would not have been anywhere as near as an awesome experience as it was with a local. She's traveled around a lot and lived in Tokyo her whole life so has a lot of neat experiences to share about Japan and different cultures. I enjoyed learning about the neighborhoods and chatting with Sachiko about many different topics.

I had a great time with Sachiko as tour guide for Kabukicho! She was very punctual, and waited for me patiently at the agreed meetup spot in Shinjuku station. She's also very accomodating to my unique request to tour certain area of Kabukicho (wink, wink). Overall meetrip is a great avenue for tourists to explore unique places not possible with regular tour. I am glad I have discovered this site 2 days before my trip! I had a lot of fun with Sachiko, and would book tours with her again when I am back in Tokyo. Highly recommend!
