Mariko is great person and so helpful.
she is five star tourguide.

Mariko is knows the area of Akihabara very well. She guided my wife and I and showed us all the spots and things we wanted to see. Her english was enough to communicate and she is very friendly. She communicated well thoughout arranging to meet and made it easy for us to meet up on the day of our trip. I suggest planning what you want to see in that area and kind of have it planned out before the meeting. We more of less just "winged it out" that day and it still worked but if you know what you are wanting to see or buy Mariko can show you where to find it in that area. Akihabara is more for anime, manga and electronic fans. The electronic store we went to was bigger then anything else we every been into. It sold books and toys too.

Mariko gave me a terrific tour of Akihabra! First she showed some popular shops selling anime figurines and models. We then had lunch at a tempura restaurant before going on to a variety of other stores. I told Mariko I was interested in old console games and she took me to a very cool store selling old consoles and console games that I never would have found on my own. She also took me to a famous robotics store where I was able to buy a cheap robot souvenir and even helped me buy some medicine as I was feeling a bit sick that day. I highly recommend Mariko for anyone who wants to check out Akihabara!

Good interesting trip would recommend moriko to anyone who knows their stuff

I had the pleasure to get to know Akihabara with the guidance of Mariko. She showed us many great shops, according to our tastes, that would otherwise pass unnoticed. In addition Mariko is very knowledgeable of both anime/manga, video games and electronics, making her the perfect guide to better understand this Tokyo area. I recommend both Mariko and her tour!

I like Akihabara. I spent good 2 hours waiving Maidcafe, manga shops and junk stores. So unusual. Recommend

If you like technology and geeky stuff, Mariko is the right person to guide you through Akihabara! From the first contact she was kind enough to give me the best directions to get to the place, was really specific about the meeting point, and even though I was late and she had to wait, she received me with a smile. We did more than I expected, from going to a flea market, having lunch in a great (non-expensive) place to going through the main street, she showed me the best places. The good thing about going with a guide who knows so much is that you get to see places that are somehow hidden, only accesible for the people who knows them. I can only recommend Mariko, she's a great guide and a great person. Thanks Mariko!

I have enjoyed the trip with Mariko that took me to the Akihabara Geek tour at very interesting shops explaining what and where the geeks can find their goods. Mariko is sweet and very helpful. Recommended for people that like the manga /anime shops.

Had a wonderful time with Mariko today. Easy directions on how to find her and was quick to ask if there was anything specific I was looking for. Once I told her she led me to every shop she knew of that had what I wanted. Very professional and easy to talk to and knowledgeable about the area. Will definitely recommend her tour.

Mariko was a very helpful guide, and she knows a lot about Akihabara. We had a tempura lunch, browsed many different shops, and went to a Maid Cafe. Overall it was a very enjoyable experience. I would definately recommend Mariko to anyone who wants to learn more about Akiharaba.
