I recommend Akihabara. It's a crazy and freedom town of anime and comics!

And also, there are traditional and local temple at Akihabara. Kanda Myojin 神田明神.

Hi, Mary：) If you like local atmosphere, I reccomend Shimokitazawa!(下北沢) There are lot's of old clothing store and fashionable cafes, where is very popular for Japanese young for a very long time ago. In addition, there is local shrine, Kitazawahachimangu.（北沢八幡宮）
