Tam
Getting around district 1: Notre Dame Cathedral, Center Post Office; and experience wonderful feeling of sitting on ground surrounding by young students, enjoying Vietnamese beverages and listening to the guitar playing of a band (spontaneously). Later, hanging out and visit Ben Thanh market, you can try Hue Food (kinds of cake from Hue- old capital, this dish is served with fish sauce) and sugar cane.
I had a tour with Tam on my first day in Saigon and it was absolutely delightful. She was informative, her English was very good and she made me have a lot of fun. We tailored my tour to the things I was looking for specifically, being the non-touristy markets and such and it was exactly what I was looking for. I highly recommend her.
Tam, Thanks for very friendly tour provided for us. We enjoyed it every much! Well done! Tam hosted us in HCMC for city tour with lunch included. We enjoyed her company very much and felt like we've known her for long time. Very good English and able to explain to us in details of their culture. Due to the hot weather when we were there, we made some adjustment to our itinerary, loved the flexibility. Before the trip, she provided very insightful details of HCMC for us as tips. Highly recommended for those who prefer personalised city tour. Cheers!
I felt instantly comfortable with Tam, she is one of the most easygoing, open and joyful persons I've met. After a quick view of the post office we went to a nearby park where there are lots of local youths and spent some time talking about everything vietnamese and how it compares to other countries, supported by delicious streetfood. Highly recommended.
We had a great time. Seeing the city and talking about life in Ho Chi Minh was fascinating. I highly recommend.Tam's English is very good.

Overall, we spent a joyful and quality time with her.If you are visiting Ho Chi Minh, I highly recommend you contacting Tam for her tour. Her response in email is prompt too :)
I met her in front of Notre Dame Cathedral. We went to Saigon Central Post Office and Quoc Tu Pagoda. Tam is easygoing, positive, and joyful person! We enjoyed the street foods, and visited very local spots where local hang out in the evening. On the day we visited Quoc Tu Pagoda, it was the birthday of Buddha. There were so many people, and full of the smell of incense. We could climb up the top floor of the pagoda, which is not open usually. If you want to dive into real local life in Saigon, why don't you ask Tam!
Tam is so helpful and open-mind! She bring me and my friends to the park next to Notre Dame Cathedral Saigon. We drunk Vietnamese coffee and tea. In the park, many young local people enjoyed talking. It was a strange view for me. Then we went to Vietnamese noodle restaurant not in guide book. I was glad to eat it. I love local food. Talking about culture and lifestyle between Japan and Vietnam together was very interesting. It's a unique and special experience for us. If you want to explore and experience authentic local life in Ho Chi Minh City, I highly recommend you contacting Tam!!
