For good stuff with reasonable prices, you should visit Ba Chieu night market in Binh Thanh district, Binh Tay night market in China town, Hanh Thong Tay night market in Go Vap district. Ben Thanh market is big and famous and in the centre of the city so the customers are usually foreigners. Therefore, they sell goods with crazy prices. You should bargain carefully there.
