If you want to buy some souvenirs, I suggest Dong Khoi street or Saigon Square.

I suggest that you should try Vietnamese local foods at "quán Hồng Hạnh" - 17a Nguyễn Thị Minh Khai street.

Just so you know "Củ Chi tunnels" is far from the city. It may take 3 or 4 hours to travel their buy bus or taxi.
