I spent one afternoon with Kazu and I've got to say he's an amazing guide and an amazing guy! He was kind enough to meet me at a station near a conference I was attending, then, even though I wasn't sure what I wanted to see, he gave the best advice based on my preference. We visited several places, and he was never looking at the time, it's more like going out with a friend. I would always recommend visiting places with a local, it gives so much more insight on what you're seeing, and Kazu is great at that, always explaining and giving interesting information on the places you visit. If you like technology and geeky stuff, Mariko is the right person to guide you through Akihabara! From the first contact she was kind enough to give me the best directions to get to the place, was really specific about the meeting point, and even though I was late and she had to wait, she received me with a smile. We did more than I expected, from going to a flea market, having lunch in a great (non-expensive) place to going through the main street, she showed me the best places. The good thing about going with a guide who knows so much is that you get to see places that are somehow hidden, only accesible for the people who knows them.
