I came to Japan on business but I had a couple of free days to spend in Tokyo is so huge that you can just spend hours trying to figure out how to get to different places so having this site is so helpful with guides like Kazu who really know their way around Tokyo. Kazu even came to my hostel to pick me up which I really appreciated as it was my first day in Japan and everything was still a little confusing. Two of my coworkers joined us and he was very patient with us as we tried new foods and saw new things. He took us to the fish market and helped us to pick a good and affordable place for lunch (much appreciated)and then we went to Shibuya. It was just great to have someone with us that really knew their way around. Thanks Kazu!

We went to a very good ramen place and then he showed me around Shinjuku and the little local bars where men sit and drink and eat. It was amazing to see these. He also took me to the hotel where lost in translation was filmed (even though I am sure he did not like the movie he was still happy to do this). I was so excited to see this place and to have a drink and see the view from the bar in which several scenes took place. I really enjoyed talking with him, he is very kind and easygoing. We did a tour of a depachika in Ueno and around a market in Ueno. It was so much fun and very interesting. Sayoko is very sweet and easy to talk to.
