Aside from just themed cafes and anime, there are other fun things to do in Akihabara, specifically browsing through the electronic shops. In fact, Akihabara, also known as Akiba, is filled with shops that sell retro or outdated video games. You can get some of your favorite childhood games that have been out of circulation for years. Some games are cheap, others are wildly expensive.

5. Munch on some Curry Bread

While curry bread, or curry pan, is available in most bakeries throughout Japan, Akihabara is famous for their curry bread.
