Dihua Street is traditional are for selling Chinese medicine.
The several blocks that make up the Dihua market are Taipei's best-preserved examples of historic architecture. If you're fun of old buildings, you can't miss it!
The area is sometimes called 'Grocery Street', lots of locals come here and buy traditional Chinese medicines and herbs, and bolts of cloth.

After walking through Dihua Market, we go to beef noodles 牛肉麺 restaurant in 迪化街.
If you want something else, we have lots of local restaurants there. I recommend Braised meat rice
魯肉飯 too. Don't worry, there are food menus for vegetarians. And you can try world-famous Taipei mango shaved ice!

I was born and raised in this market. Most of people at the market are my old friends. I can explain very details of its history and culture and daily local life of Taiwanese.
I'll talk about Taipei history and culture and customs associated with 迪化街 during the lunch.
