I can prepare for your room. I live in a dormitory in Kokubunji near Kitijoji as the most popular city.
We have a room you can stay for only +1080yen per night (not per person!) in the dorm until 5 members. You don't need to reserve a hotel. But it's only one room. So it is reserved soon. I recommend you ask me it.
After all, if you stay in the dorm, it cost you 20$ and ¥1080 totals. You pay ¥1080 to me directly.
My plan is best if you wanna stay cheapest and enjoy your time better in Tokyo.
