How many days you r going to stay in Ximengting? R u plan to spend 7 days in Taipei?
Anything ur family is interested in? Culture? Food? Nice view? Hot spring? It would be good if you could provide more information about you preference, then we may be able to give some suggestions somehow.
11 pax consist of 6 adult, 3 children n 2 infand. I have already book The hotel at taipei as most of the hotel is fully book by now. We intend to go to shiling market, wu fei pu, liu fu village, doremon park, little boss island.
Can u pla advise on the transport in taipei n other places of interest
Shame on me, I cannot recognize some of the places you want to visit until we check them on internet...ha.If you cannot understand Chinese, suggest you must have a hard copy with you to show people the Chinese name. It will help you to get the places quickly.
1. Shiling Market (士林夜市): You can take MRT from Ximengting, drop MRT at Jiantan (劍潭) station.
2. Wufenpu (五分埔): Take train at Taipei station will be the best choice, drop at Matsuyama Station (I am not sure if it is official English name, it’s actually Japanese to me, you can double check the Chinese character松山) train station, wufenpu and Raohe Street Tourist Night Market is just nearby.
3. Liu Fu Village(六福村): Since you are living in Ximengting, you may take MRT to Zhongxiao Dunhua station exit 8, cross the road to the bus station in the middle of 2-way road.
4. doremon park …well, we don’t have any places named Doremon Park, the name of the park you are looking for may be小人國 (Window on China), but I don’t think there is anything related to China..hahaha. They use to have doremon in the past, but it is just a specific event during a specific time frame. I think the event was finished few years ago as I recall. Now they have another event for Children, you may check out if you are interested in. Actually, this park is very close to Liu Fu Village, but you may need to go to the park in 2 separately days if you have already booked your hotel in Taipei city, the bus you take to LiuFu Village will pass this park as well. http://www.woc.com.tw/web/html/01about/01.aspx
