Private Driver + Cultural Expert in Metropolitan Manila
I booked two tours with Seio.
The first was "Experience the food in Japan"! He's very knowledgeable about Jap cuisine, works with your allowed budget and his recommendations based on your preferred taste is really good! He will also tell you a little about the food culture and after that quick dinner, I earned my first friend in Tokyo!
The second was The Tokyo Tour where he helped me drop off my DJ press kits around Roponggi, the nightlife district in Tokyo. I went mainly to Tokyo to gain more business contacts and because no one (absolutely no one) speaks English, I would have been completely lost in translation if it wasn't for Seio. From navigating the roads to professionally talking to the potential clients, he was very much helpful!
Seio helped me a lot and I had so much fun going around Tokyo with him. I will definitely book Seio's tour again when I go back to Tokyo.
This was my favorite Meetrip tour in Tokyo! Keisuke fetched me from my hotel lobby and from there we headed to Shibuya then Harajuku then Asakusa. I'm pretty sure I've saved so much time from not getting lost. The Shinjuku subway station, where we initially boarded going to our destination was the most complicated to navigate (for a foreigner) and busiest station in Tokyo.
K brought me to a really good ramen place in Harajuku and taught me a few Japanese words that I was able to bring home with me and remembered till now. He was also a pretty good photographer! At the end of the entire tour, I gained a friend :)
When Keisuke came to Manila, I fetched him from the airport and made him try some Filipino snacks. I highly recommend this tour! Keisuke is fluent in English, have travelled to different countries and can tell you about them and best of all he's still very Japanese.
See you again, K :)
Akihabara is one of the places you must visit in Tokyo. You can't have the complete Japanese culture experience without the Anime craze and Shotaro is your perfect guy for that!
The tour is as described and I had so much fun sight seeing more than I expected.
It's a big area and getting lost is most likely to happen even with a high-speed internet data.
Shotaro was very kind, sincerely helpful and overall a wonderful tour guide!
I honestly doubted that I will find the rare toy I wanted so I somewhat gave-up.
However, Shotaro was very diligent that he took me from one store to another and did not stop until we found
Hi Shotaro! Thank you so much for being a great guide in Akihabara.
I'd be lost without you and probably wouldn't find the stuff I wanted to buy if it wasn't for all your help. :)
I will see you in Tokyo soon when I come back. Arigato Gozaimasu.
