About Activity


We bring you to Chinatown. It takes about 15 - 20 minutes to go from central Saigon. Forget about tall buildings, tourist markets, expensive souvernir and food in district 1. We will show you another aspect of Saigon, where people is so friendly and closely and where you can discover our daily life. Otherwise you can enjoy our moon festival and try moon cake.

We pick you up at 9am at your hotel and take you to Chinatown by motorbike. On the way, we will tell you the story of the establishment and the history, also the culture of Chinese-Vietnamese here.
Our first stop is a lantern street, it is one of the most long-lasting handicraft village in Ho Chi Minh city. It become most crowded before or during the Trung Thu festival (Mid-autumn festival). The street is covered by hundred colorful lantern with many shapes, many colors. After that, you are offered to enjoy moon cake, the speciality of Trung Thu festival.
We will ride you passing the town that is famous for Chinese medicine stores, a typical smell of traditional Chinese medicine fulfilling your nose create a very cozy feeling.
We will have a motorbike parked and continue walking along Hai Thuong Lang Ong street, this street represent a China-like town in Saigon, where you will find many traditional Chinese Vietnamese wedding decorations, you can prepare yourself lovely lantern with the much cheaper price than in tourist markets. While walking, we will pass by the textile market, tabacco market and a church with very unique architecture.
Finishing walking, we will visit Binh tay market, this is the second largest market in Ho Chi Minh city, where you can see the truly Vietnamese lifestyle.
Then, we will have lunch at chicken-rice restaurant.
Thien hau temple is our last stop, this Chinese temple represents the daily life of Chinese living in Saigon, where you can witness the folkloric custom in Vietnamese Chinese workship and also pray for your friends, your family.

We offer this tour until 15/09 because of our moon festival (In this year, it ends on 15/09). Normally our tour begins at 9:00.
