Work and Education:
Mariko was knowledgeable and friendly. She will be the perfect guide for Akihabara being a local staying and working in that area. For those who have specific items or collection to seek, having Mariko will most definitely helps. Unfortunately I was not looking to buy anything in particular. Even then I enjoy walking around Akihabara without getting lost and finding hidden gems like the retro game shop. Highly recommend to those who never experience Akihabara before and those who have a list of things to buy from Akihabara.
I had a great time with Hideaki. He was punctual and easy to talk to. Kabukicho is different from what I imagine and having Hideaki explain helps. In addition to Kabukicho, we walk around Isetan food department and he highlighted some of the delicacies that are worth getting. We ended the trip with some yakitori at Omoide Yokocho, which to me is saving the best for last. The food and the atmosphere there is great. All in all it was a great night out with a cool guy. I highly recommend it.
