Hideaki managed to find time from his schedule for a tour of Omoide Yokocho and Kabukicho with me. He was really patient as I went to the wrong meeting location and had to hurry over to the other end of Shinjuku station. The tour started with a short walk to Omoide Yokocho. A quaint little street with lots of Yakitori and Ramen shops. We managed to find one of his regular shops and had a fantastic dinner! It was followed by a tour at Kabukicho. Towards the end of the tour he was also nice enough to point out a restaurant serving Okinawan cuisine that I could try. Overall he was really knowledgeable, friendly and enthusiastic during the tour. I would recommend any one wanting to know Shinjuku in greater detail to him.

Takashi was an awesome guide. We toured Harajuku and the Meiji Shrine. We were fortunately enough to see a few weddings at the shrine that day and he also explained the customs at the shrine very well. At Harajuku, he showed me various interesting shops I would not have otherwise ventured into and explained in detail the Harajuku culture. He brought me to a nouveau style ramen joint which was very interesting! He also went beyond the tour time and brought me to Ginza. Overall it was a great experience and I highly recommend his services to anyone.
