Artists’ House -
Get the BTS from BTS Sala Daeng or Chong Nonsi to BTS Talat Phlu changing at BTS Siam. The get a taxi to Charan Santiwong 3 which is the road leading up to the house, but on the other side of the canal. You then can cross a bridge (being careful of motorbikes!) and see the canal-side houses and temples along the way. Then simply walk along the canal until you reach the Artists’ House. It’s a nice example of a traditional wooden canal-side house with 2 floors to look at. You need to take off your shoes though so make sure your feet aren’t smelly ;)
On the top floor there is some artwork and paintings to look at, and also you can see out to the canal. On the ground floor there is a cafe which serves food and drinks and a small gift-shop. Entry is free so it is probably good to buy a drink and sit by the canal, watch the boats go by. You can also buy a blank-canvas mask or piggy bank with paint to decorate while you’re there.
at 2pm there is a traditional Thai puppet show, which is worth seeing. But it depends on the time, it probably isn’t worth waiting too long for if you’ve nothing else to do.
After watching puppets show then it should be about 4 pm. You either take the river boat from the artist house (19.824 USD) or we can go back how we come. And then I would like to take you to AsiaTique which is open-air mall river front with shops, restaurants, and fake London Eye (joking, not the same with London ones...not even slightly)
Anytime you prefer but would be good in the weekends.
I can come and meet you at your hotel(if I knew) or Terminal 21mall. Which we can choose how are we going to travel because there are Sky train and underground.
You will pay to hire me as a "friend-guide" but we can negotiate about things. I am so easy.
Price Doesn't Include:
Doesn't include the Boat (if you're taking it)
