Glad you're coming to be in Thailand for the festival. Enjoy yourself while you're here.
If you're staying near Silom you'll have plenty of company Friday night... but most of it won't be "locals" - most Thai people use this time to travel back "home" and have family reunions. Best of luck to you finding someone to celebrate with. Hope you have a good time and enjoy yourself.
