Another viewpoint with HDR eyes at Erawan Museum - cover photo

The Erawan Museum is one of my favorite places to visit. Erawan is the 3-headed elephant you will see in sculptures in Thailand. The museum sits in a park-like setting, is fairly inexpensive to visit, and the building has exquisite interior architecture and decorations. There is also a peaceful prayer room / meditation area on the top floor which contains some interesting and antique sculptures (please be respectful if you visit that room - be quiet and DO NOT TOUCH!).

After you visit the museum itself you can eat at one of the snack shops on the grounds, go for a walk in their park which has a beautiful stream/water area surrounded by flowers and filled with fish and populated with sculptures of interesting Thai-themed characters.

It took me about 3 hours to go through the museum itself (as I enjoy architecture and interior design) and then I spent another 2 hours on the grounds enjoying the park and another hour enjoying a snack / shopping in their souvenir stores.

Enjoy your visit!

This place is really awesome and an impressive museum, which has the biggest Erawan pure copper sculpture. It's stucco decorated with neatly pained tiles, and when you enter the museum you will see impressive and beautiful antiquities inside. There is also a full nature park around the museum that you can relax in as well. Let's go visit and enjoy a wonderful time.
